Gas comes first !

It all started with a family story, born at the heart of the world of bottled gas. One challenge : to trust a family of Italian industrialists unknown in France and to distribute their products at the end of the 1970s on an already well-established French market.

This partnership will allow CAVAGNA GROUP to develop its exports and to be present today in 145 countries and Favex to become in less than 10 years the 1st French distributor of components and connectors for LPG gas.

The acquisition of know-how handed down from generation to generation and the perfect mastery of LPG products has enabled us to diversify into the home and garden sector, making Favex a real reference in the manufacture and distribution of gas-fired heating, outdoor cooking and mosquito repellent solutions.

Customized customer service based in France

Beyond the design and distribution of high-performance products, our entire offer is built on the quality of the associated services: Logistics, quality process and consumer service.

Our service centre, located in the heart of France in Romorantin (41) in a 10 000m² logistics building, is at the centre of our activity.

We have chosen not to subcontract either our logistics or our user support in order to offer a controlled and personalized service.

The uniqueness of Favex is based on values of quality, know-how, reliability and innovation that make up its DNA.

An optimized quality approach from design to distribution

The conformity of our products and the respect of national and international standards are at the heart of our commitments, for high performance and totally secure equipment following an optimized quality approach. As such, we are actively preparing to obtain ISO 9001 certification in 2021. In compliance with our quality procedures, our products are regularly inspected by independent French organizations and laboratories.

With 40 years of experience, Favex is today a reliable distributor with perfect control of the entire production chain. Always close to our products and production sites, we are as regularly present in Italy as we are in Asia, in Hong Kong, where our subsidiary, Favex Asia, ensures rigorous monitoring and control of production.

A family story, a family of products, a story that lasts... Favex is first and foremost a family story that began in the 1950s, when the Harmand family became a player in the gas industry. Created by Roger Harmand and developed by his son Jacques, the Favex company was founded in 1978.
In order to continue its epic journey and expand around the world, the company conquered new universes and territories. Favex has thus become a reference in the manufacture and distribution of heating, outdoor cooking and mosquito repellent solutions.
For 15 years, Eric and Alexandre Harmand have been at the helm of the company, supported by the fourth generation with Alexis Harmand who runs Favex Asia in Hong Kong.
